On August 7th, Chef John Ash passed away at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy that includes his eponymous restaurant, two James Beard award-winning cookbooks, and decades of educating cooks and chefs. For twenty years, host Michelle Marques worked alongside him at KSRO, where Ash co-hosted the nation’s longest running radio food show: Good Food Hour. She shares clips from his broadcasts over the years, as well as a heartfelt conversation with Ash’s radio co-host of 38 years, Steve Garner.
