Generations: California 250 - Introduction

As the American Revolution marks its 250th anniversary, Generations elevates California’s deep, diverse, and dynamic history to the national stage through the power of intergenerational storytelling. This six-part documentary series weaves a tapestry of California voices: Indigenous, immigrant, working-class, and multigenerational families. From kitchen tables to iconic natural landscapes, each episode features authentic conversations in meaningful settings, examining questions of culture, identity, and change. These conversations connect lived experiences with the past, present, and future of not only our state, but the entire nation.
