Headshot MNFarmer Mai is an award-winning heirloom grain farmer and miller who works to connect other farmers, bakers, chefs, and cooks with the freshest, most delicious and nutritious, freshly milled grains. She grows and sells 10 very special varieties and is working to produce some 170 others in a Herculean effort of preservation and regeneration. She talks about her path from science to earth to food, her work on three pieces of land in western Sonoma County, her regional efforts, and her hopes and plans for the future.
