It's not just a rumor. Spring is coming. This is a great time to get some starts at the farmers market or your favorite horticultural spot and start them indoors maybe or in a pot on the terrace or the windowsill or anywhere. Spring is coming and this is a time when I really like to start thinking about all the things I want to be eating.
It's the time when we've been waiting through the cold winter and it's been quite a winter and begin to get the pleasures, get the joys, get the treasures of the Earth around us. Some of it really depends on how hard and how well our farmers have been working through the fall and through the winter. So, we begin to get the rewards and this is a time when I start thinking about eating things that are fresh and full of sunshine.
