You know what I like about spring? Everything. The sunshine, the pops of warm air, the occasional sprinkle, roses, lilacs, asparagus, new young green garlic, the chickens deciding that it's time to lay some more eggs.
And for me spring is wonderful because it's kind of like a a holiday all month long - all season long. You go every weekend to the farmer's market - to a couple of farmer's market. It's like their new presence under the old oaks. It's like there are new treasures from every tree, from every plant, from every piece of earth just sharing the bounty. Spring is so alive.
