Rock On, Trash Out! San Jose nonprofit The Trash Punx was founded by punk rock drummer Justin Imamura, who brings his outside-the-box enthusiasm and passionate commitment to watershed stewardship to ongoing creek cleanups. NorCal joins this charismatic leader with a large group of volunteers to remove garbage from a section of the Guadalupe River that runs right through the heart of downtown San Jose. Justin explains, “We’re a group of people…who want nothing but a cleaner world!” Made possible by a generous Safe, Clean Water and Natural Flood Protection grant from Valley Water (https://www.valleywater.org/learning-center/grants-partnerships).
