The fast moving Feliz Fire, which started shortly after 3:30 P.M. on Saturday, August 1st, has prompted evacuation orders around Hopland in Mendocino County.
Cal Fire reports as of 11 P.M. August 1st that forward progress of the Feliz Fire has been halted.
US Highway 101 has also been completely reopened in the area.
Evacuation orders are still in place for Zone: MEN-2HOP04 and MEN-2UKV29 by the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office.
Zone MEN-2HOP04 covers areas:
West of the Russian River
North of Old River Road
North of Duncan Springs Road
East of Duncan Peak
East of Feliz Creek Road
South of Crawford Creek
Zone MEN-2UKV29 covers areas:
West of the Russian River
North of Crawford Ranch and Largo Road
East of Page Road
South of Nelson Ranch Road
