The North Bay has been lashed with rain in the past 24 hours from short-lived atmospheric river.
Over 4 inches has fallen near Austin Creek State Park.
Sonoma Water's rain gauge in Santa Rosa, at Piner Creek and Hopper Avenue, counts nearly 2.5 inches of rain.
Localized flooding closed Mark West Station Road at Starr Road west of Windsor, as well as Green Valley Road near Graton. The latter has since reopened.
School was cancelled for the day at the Horicon School in Annapolis on the north Sonoma Coast thanks to a power outage.
Much of Sonoma and western Napa County received between an 1.5 to 3 inches of rain over the past 24 hours.
That's according to Sonoma Water's rain gauge system.
Johannes Hoevertsz, head of Sonoma County's Public Infrastructure Department said there haven't been any major issues so far.
"we were very lucky, nothing significant," Hoevertsz said. "The usual spots that normally flood, flooded."
Karen Hancock of the Sonoma County Fire Protection District offered advice to drivers Thursday morning.
"We are asking everyone to please please be vigilant while you're driving on our Sonoma County roads," Hancock said. "If you come across a roadway that has running water over it, please turn around, don't drown."
Flood gauges on Mark West Station Road measured near the 2 foot mark as of Thursday morning.
"It's early in the season so there's a lot of runoff," Hoevertsz said. "No slides, no significant slides that we have to worry about. We are looking at all our projects that we finished from the last set of storms to make sure that drainage is working properly and everything is okay, but other than that, we've been very fortunate."
