Two couples tied the knot in ceremonies happening just moments after midnight. 

• Here in the U.S, the Human Rights Campaign released the 2017 state equality index report.  Many state legislatures across the country considered sweeping anti-LGBT laws to allow wholesale discrimination, including some that attack marriage equality and transgender youth. The good news is that California is among the 13 top rated states in the report. 

• Locally, the 2nd annual LGBTQI Families Symposium is scheduled for January 28, 2018.  It’s a free event offering workshops and lunch.
