Volunteer
We
are looking for volunteers to help with radio production
in our studio. We offer great hands on experience and
we can work around your schedule with flexible hours
Take
a look at some of the jobs our volunteers do:
Board
Operator - On-air opportunity. Learn to operate
the board, put programs on the air, voice station announcements.
Weekend morning and evening shifts available.
Sound
Recording and Engineering - Engineer on and
off-site recording. Edit programs on ProTools. Basic
understanding of computer editing necessary.
Program
Archivist - Transfer new programs to website
for "On Demand" listening. Keep archives up
to date. Requires computer and writing skills.
Assistant
to Music Director - Intake, review and categorize
new CDs of all genres. Familiarity with all categories
of music important - folk, jazz, alt. rock, etc.
Community
Calendar Director - Organize and write public
service announcements, create on air calendars of music
and community events.
