Thursdays at 7 pm

They are the scions of industry magnates,
the sons of Eritrean refugees,
girls celebrating their quinceneras, daughters of
fourth-generation farmers,
this is the bridge between
the Sonoma of yesterday and the
Sonoma of tomorrow

Voice of Youth is the only local enterprise dedicated to
broadcasting teen voices. Nowhere else is a local professional
media outlet pledging its airwaves to adolescents and their
authentic reflections of growing up at the dawn of the 21st century.

I invite you to nourish and sustain a unique and compelling project dedicated to serving the Sonoma County teen population Voice of Youth (VOY) on KRCB Radio. Many programs can only focus on one group of youth such as at-risk or college-bound. This budding project brings teens together for a common cause: taking to the public radio airwaves with thoughtful, authentic reflections of their experience. Together, they gain a respect for the power of language as they learn how to communicate effectively and professionally while staying true to their young, dynamic voices.
